ABOUT
Love for Alamance
Saturday, March 23
"For Alamance" is a group of volunteers who desire to see everyone in Alamance County thrive in today's challenging times. To do that, we must be willing to work together, and must be willing to cross over some of the issues that currently divide us. "Love for Alamance" is an opportunity for people from all walks of life to come together and serve one another.
"Love for Alamance" is a Day of Service coordinated by members of the "For Alamance" Faith Team. The various service projects will allow people to use their talents and experiences to meet needs that exist within our community. Sign up today to serve alongside your neighbors. By doing so, you will demonstrate to others that people in Alamance County truly do care for one another.
Our Service
Projects
Paint Project
at Eastlawn Elementary
This has been a difficult year for students at Eastlawn Elementary School. You can help brighten the day for both students and teachers by joining us to paint the walls of the hallways. Painting will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on March 23. Join us for as much of that time as you can serve. For info, contact Jimmy Shropshire at 919-696-9316.
Litter Pick-Up Becomes Indoor Paintng Project
Because of a forecast for rain and possible storms on the morning of Saturday, March 23, a planned Litter Pick-Up event has been changed. Volunteers who signed up to pick up trash are now invited to paint interior walls at Northside Fellowship Church, a multicultural congregation in East Burlington. The paint project will take place beginning at 9 a.m. at 513 Homewood Avenune, Burlington. For info, contact Donald Bowlin at 336-260-8424 or donald@mynorthsidefamily.org.
Park Clean-Up to Happen Rain or Shine

They have scheduled a park clean-up day for Saturday, March 23, from 9 to 11 a.m. For more info, contact Johna Savage of Habitat for Humanity of Alamance County at 336-222-8191 ext. 2 or jsavage@habitatalamance.org.
